(no subject)
I had Hake in wasabi mustard sauce for supper. It was tremendous. The mustard came to me in a funny way. My mother had called to ask what I wanted for Christmas. And I told her all I could think of was a really delicious fancy mustard. And, well, she was shocked, because, she told me, the only thing she had in fact bought me was a fancy mustard. I don't even know how she knew I loved mustard, as far as I know I only started experimenting with new mustards after I started living with Tyler. So nice.
The way it goes is we were in Whole Foods looking for good looking vegetables (they are hard to find in February!!). And came home and had a delicious dinner that Tyler cooked.. but HAD TO LEAVE BEFORE IT WAS READY, gulping mouthfuls on the way out the door and leaving me to do the dishes! Which I usually avoid but did tonight.
Since Tyler has class tomorrow right as I leave work, I am thinking about skipping off to go shopping. I hear about a store in Allston called Urban Renewal. I really really wanted to go there many a time but Tyler hates to shop. I really would like some new duds, though. I find mine dead dull. First maybe I need to go through all my clothes and decide what I can make into something I like and therefore save it.
I really want to read this book, Corey read it and said it was amazing.
