I adopted another stray....

Anyone who has known me for any length of time knows that I can and will adopt people and take them home. Literally. In the past they have moved in with me and or my family, and gone on from there. I haven't had to do this for quite some time. However. My Spark just had her cousin Del move in with her from Alaska. He brought with him this little guy Shawn. Little is relative, he's 19. The poor boy has never been outside Juno, Alaska, and is seriously homesick. He's pretty close to his family, amazingly nice and polite, and a health nut. We're going to have to work on some of that. :) I talked to him today and offered to bring him to my family's house one weekend, as we are all close as well. He was uber happy! Yay for good deeds!! Talked to the fam, and got a good reminder of why I love them so much. I spoke to each one individually, and it was a resounding, "Bring the boy over!!". So it looks as though I have a new little brother, and though we cannot in any way shape or form take the place of his real family, we can be good for him while he's here in GA. This makes me happy. There will be no corrupting though!! He doesn't drink, or do drugs. The drugs I can understand, the drinking eh - whatever makes him happy I suppose.  And?  I'm not really sure he knows what he's in for, it's only been like 48 hours and all my crazy protective big sister instincts are in full force.  I'm debating on bringing him out. I don't really know that many people close to his age so I'm kind of at a loss. If anyone has any suggestions that would be great.  I think Atlanta might be a bit much for right now, apparently he'd never seen a city that large until he flew out here.
