Stupid project.
Computer Science 61BL gets more and more annoying as time goes on.
Today our TA announced that she had caught people cheating on the in-lab quizzes and that if she caught people at it again, they would get zeroes for the quiz. Fine. I don't cheat, and if other people cheat, they deserve to get punished. But then she went on to say that if it happened AGAIN after that, she might give the whole class zeroes. WTF.
In addition, the professor appears to be obsessed with the test-driven development paradigm. I agree that writing tests for a class as the initial design phase of that class can be very useful for thinking about what can go wrong with something. However, the course is called Data Structures and Programming Methodologies, as in more than one programming methodology. It would be nice if they actually did what the course title implies and taught us other paradigms for the development process.
