Physics.
In Physics 7B discussion, which runs Mondays 10-12 and is not the best way to start my day.
Admittedly, my GSI is a lot better than the professor, but I still dislike the course and the way it's taught. This is nothing new, however; I hated Physics 7A last semester. It seems to me that the physics department is incapable of finding decent lecturers. What's really annoying is the way the courses are administered - they don't use the online waitlist system. Instead, they make you fill out forms with the head GSI.
The professor is absolutely horrible. His derivations are incomplete and non-rigorous and his boardwork is entirely illegible. It pretty much stems from the fact that he obviously doesn't prepare his lectures before giving them. I'm talking about stupid things like leaving out constants, doing integrals backwards, multiplying by the wrong factor... it just makes me really pissed off that I'm enrolled in a course where I have to do way more work than is required just to understand what the professor is supposed to be covering in lecture.
