The Memory of Elephants by Boman Desai
If so, opinions?
They both could be hit or miss, but the former is a familiar format (re: Phillipa Gregory), while the latter is an unknown. The Phillipa Gregory format can be irritating or comfortable, depending on how well it is pulled off.
