(no subject)
i've been sick. second day of work this week... in the office, that is. i like having a job that allows me to work from home.
in other news, i didn't go to yosemite during the second week of october. instead, i burned my hand on the stove the week before and spent the week changing bandages on a daily basis and not doing any climbing.
back to school news... going into the midterm this week, i had a 100% in my class. go me.
also, i survived a second round of lay-offs at the job. they like me.
the future holds...
...friend from high school flying into town tonight, going to be stationed in bremerton for the next couple of years. good times - yes. free places to stay in japan - no.
...traveling to tillamook to spend thanksgiving with my mom, sister, and girlfriend. girlfriend is best girlfriend ever. period.
...finishing up first quarter of my masters degree (8 more to go).
...traveling to michigan and boston over christmas and new years. spending christmas with girlfriend's parents, making trips to kalamazoo and the organic farm, seeing her close friends still out there, spending new years with my brother and his wife, eating at la famiglia, finally giving presents to them that i've been holding onto for years.
...so much more that i can't even remember right now - video game weekend, crafting night, date night, trips to the farmer's market, etc. my life is seriously a whirlwind of activity these days. i used to sit around on the weekends, completely bored, wishing i had things to do... and now, i'm out and about doing things every weekend, completely happy, but kind of just wanting to sit around on the weekend completely bored. somehow it makes work on monday more engaging.

nothing deep and profound here. but, this is the internet. it is not a place for deep and profound - it's more like 7 seconds of entertainment, where somebody gets their balls amusingly smashed back into their lower abdomen.
