well, that's it...
i'm about to put the finishing touches on my final report and email it to my professor. family is already in town. father should be getting in tomorrow.
i'll walk across some stage on sunday and there will be much excitement. four years of work and school and to show everyone how much i've learned over this time, i get to prove it by:
1) wearing a hat that is flat
2) walking
3) shaking hands with the elderly
this "ceremony" would be so much more interesting if there was some sort of flaming circle between me and the guy holding my diploma... or if the diploma was buried in a pit of green slime and graduates had to dig through the pit to graduate, you know all "double dare" style. maybe even if there was a final question or something... well, i like trivia. still boring for everyone else, but fun for me. yay!
so, now that i've gone back to college and finished that up, i have to come up with another plan for my life. wildly lucrative career and early retirement? power and partial world domination? fleeing society and communing with nature? settling into normalcy and buying a house?
i think i'm going to start a jug band and pick up rock climbing. maybe i'll attempt to have a social life again and meet women. no, that's not what i went to school for, computer people don't get to relate to women, they just get to relate to each other over the internet in constant battles of wit over increasingly irrelevant topics.... my insanely large computer brain could solve world hunger, but instead i'm going to use it to learn how to speak klingon.
