Babble and fanart for you guys^^
Hello dear Spirou-fans! For the longest time I've though about writing an etry here, but I'm shy and lazy, so it's been put back for rather many times.
Anyway, I'm Johanna, or Jossu for short, I'm huge fan of Spirou et Fantasio. I've read it since early childhood alongside with many other franco-belgian comics, mut S&F certainly is my favorite. And naturally I just adore André Franquin's period, but I have warm feeling towards few Tome & Janry albums and Iäm very interested about this one.shot series that has produced already few very strong albums. like the Émile Bravo's wonderfully old fashioned story.
Well, there's of course been quite many different ways Spirou and Fantasio has been made over the years... after Franquin I really don't feel anything for Fournier, even though there snot exatly anything deeply wrong with him (it's only that his style lack energy), Nick and Cauvis shoul probably shoot themselves and I don't even want to talk about Morvan and Munuera. But Iäm all positive about Velhmann and Yoann as their style appeals to me for some level.
But Franquin is always Franquin, and I love all Franquin's work, Gaston Lagaffe, Marsupilami, Modeste et Pompom etc. And I have bad fangily tendency to do art and pair my favorite characters in a very slashy way. I hope you don't mind that, my poin in this post was to upload few of my slashy drawings I have on deviantart. If you are interested to see more, my nickname is same as here, jossujb.
Pics are under the cut, I decided to upload mostly Fantasio/Gaston Lagaffe stuff - because weirdly enough, I'm really into that pairing.
Here's mr. Fantasio doing what he does best aka being a reporter.
Language in the bubble is Finnish, and it says something like "Move your ass you slack". I have a bit of a crisis with Fantasio's hair, I've never managed to draw it same way twice - as I'm not really sure how I believe it is. He might be bald I don't know. So that's why his hair keeps changing all the time.
This is basically copy of a real panel that once was in one Gaston Lagaffe comic strip. I'm sure you know it, it's the one that where Gaston jumps pole inside office and hits his head in the roof. All I did was crop the pictire and add hearts, since Iäm a slash idiot^^

Gaston is probably beging Fantasio to get in his car^^You know, the main reason why I like this pairing is the fact that they do seem to spent a lot of time together outside office. Like goign camping or random walks in the city, or just by coming same car to work. And Gaston always remebers Fantasio's birthday and Fantasio get always very upset if Gaston really hurts himself^^ He even brings flovers to hospital.
