As much as we may try to sever connections, they're never truly severed. Connections remain connected in the space and time that they existed, and even if contact is ceased somewhere else in space or time, the connection isn't ever gone.

This is important to remember, because we're responsible for the connections that we make, and for the evolutions that they take. We have to own them.
