Fuck yeah Temeraire.
I am officially caught up on the series :D 15 or so hours, 363 pages read. Finished what I had of book 4 and completely went through book 5 ^^
Book 5 I think may very well be my favorite of the series so far. *whine* Book 6 doesn't come out 'til July. Well! I have other books to read, if I put my mind to it.
While reading I had lovely mental conversations with myself:
"I should write a Doctor Who/Temeraire fic."
"Hmmm... what would be awesome... oh! The Time War! With DRAGONS!"
"...no, no, Self, that really doesn't work at all."
"I bet the Master could easily persuade Lien to do evil by his side. Swipe her from time and promise that he'll squish Temeraire... eventually..."
"TARDISes = DRAGONS. Fuck yeah. Dragons that can travel through time and are... bigger on the inside? imagine feeding it No, no, Self, that works even less. The Time War cannot have dragons."
"The Master wouldn't really settle for anything other than a Celestial."
The impossibility of the Time Lords having dragons during the Time War aside, I'm going to bed.
