[there is a fairly unusual sight running down Mitchell Road this evening, lighting up the slowly dimming street as it moves down the road

[A mason jar smashes on the ground between her and the flaming engineer! The yellow mist is enough to dampen out a group of people on fire. The yellow mist smells fowl. It is what you think it is.
Sniper is standing in the middle of the street, raising up his rifle.]
[well, Kanna is still on the roof of her house, so she doesn't seem in the least bit troubled by the yellow mist-- though the second it dies down, there's another flaming bottle of vodka being thrown swiftly at the drone.
and the woman just gives Sniper a cold, level stare, apparently unconcerned by the rifle.]
No worries. o/spiritsmokingJune 23 2010, 02:36:07 UTC
[really? oh, how cute. if Sniper is paying attention to her expression through his scope, he might notice Kanna grin-- and it isn't at all a nice expression.
immediately the smoke hanging in the air around her rushes forward, neatly slicing the bullet in half; it doesn't stop it, but the two halves go right past her.]
[ahhh.... maybe this wouldn't be such a bad day after all. the roof only stops her long enough that it takes her to stand, jump down, stand again, and head down the street, hands stuffed into the pockets of her shorts.
that smoke is trailing after her as opposed to rising up in the air from her cigarette and dissipating, like a toxic cloud, and you'd better watch yourself, Sniper.
she's walking, almost calmly for now, in your direction.]

[Scout heard the screaming from his yard a few homes down. A very familiar scream. And considering Scout's in charge of keeping his street safe, he's out the door in a flash with his shotgun in hand, leaping onto is roof for a better view.
Leaping from roof to roof, Scout comes upon the scene: the collapsed drone of his favorite teammate, scorched almost beyond recognition; his other teammate trying to line up a shot with his rifle, and a blue-haired woman walking calmly towards him.
Sadly Scout has never been known for his subtly.]
What the freakin' hell--!
[[OOC - post order Sniper - Kanna - Scout okay? Unfortunately I need to go to bed, orz. Sorry :(]]
Fine by me if the Main person says so.bloodon_myknifeJune 23 2010, 03:47:51 UTC
[Sniper was tempted to tell Scout what was up, but it might be better to show him.
Sniper would load his next bullet and line up the shot... though quickly twitched his sight towards a spot the smoke wasn't covering on her body and fired. He hated wasting a bullet on a non vital shot but hoped to find a hole in that defense first.
Even before checking to see if it hit, Sniper was ratcheting another shot home. The casing falling to pavement. Continuing to back pedal at his slow pace.]
It's fine with me~spiritsmokingJune 23 2010, 03:56:59 UTC
[Kanna's gaze shifts slightly, away from the Sniper and up to the loudmouth, and she raises an eyebrow before the image clicks. right. the annoying kid down the street, the one that had looked like Minatsuki's precious boyfriend but wasn't. another goddamn Blu. tch.
but that next shot doesn't go unnoticed, and the smoke - which is still growing, thanks to her cigarette - rushes forward again to slice the bullet in half once more without her even really needing to look. handy thing, being a Shaman.]
Is that all you idiots have!
[she almost misses the next bullet, but manages to catch that one with the smoke as well, turning to advance on the Sniper once more. despite the bullet having grazed her cheek, she seems unfazed. humans were so damn easy to kill. couldn't they put up a better fight than this?]
[Scout wasn't wasting any time. So many of his friends were getting droned lately, he wasn't letting them get killed too, even if it WAS Sniper. In a flash he was sliding down the roof and leaping down the street towards Kanna's back. Once he got close enough, he fired his shotgun at her.]
[tch. guns. Kanna hated guns. they were so annoying and so petty, but if they managed to catch you offguard then you were done for, which just made fighting humans even more of a nuisance. you couldn't get stronger doing it or improve your skills, you just got better at dodging.
making another light 'tch' sound, Kanna shot to the right, concentrating on dodging the bullet from Scout while Ashcroft's smoke took out the other two bullets-- though again, one grazed the side of her leg, but she didn't seem to notice or care.
not that the humans could tell a ghost was fighting alongside her, of course. but while she dodged she pulled a pack of cigarettes out of her pocket and pulled three or so of them out, holding all three to her lips and lighting them. more smoke~]
[Hmm. She was a quick one, but that's okay, so is Scout. He was already reloading the gun, withing a matter of seconds. He closed in on her, since he fought better at close range. Once close enough, he'd fire again.]
What the fuck do ya think yer doin', ya goddamn nutjob!?
[whether it was to her benefit or not, Kanna could still use the brief lack of gunfire to her advantage-- and she did so, exhaling two lungfuls of thick smoke into the air just before Scout began to close in on her.]
Stop being so goddamn lazy, you geezer!
[and then she smirked, dodging back and away from the annoying younger Blu member, two cigarettes still held safely between her lips and two in one of her hands, despite the fact that at least half of the smoke had dissipated from around her all at once.
it was barely a few seconds later that a very large, very ominous suit of armor - that also seemed to be smoking - broke down the front door of the house Kanna had previously been sitting on, rushing into the street like a bat out of hell.]
[Scout was just about to hit the trigger of the shotgun when Kanna jumped out of the way. He was about to curse her out again when the strange armored figure burst out of the house. He backpedaled a few steps, turning his gun that way, but keeping his eyes on Kanna as well.]
Jarate!

Bloody Hell!
[He was back pedaling now, hoping to get some distance. Hoping the fact she was on her roof would buy him some time.]

Scout might be a spaztic little squirrel but they have worked together plenty of times before. He tried to work with Scout's timing and fired!]
