I keep a file of recipes I want to try on a clip on the fridge. Today I went to add a recipe to the pile and the clip just couldn't take any more. So I added a second clip for support AND decided that I would start working my way through the recipes despite the current craziness.
Spite never tasted so sweet. Tonight's experiment was marshmallows. Does homeade make the difference. Yes. Mmmmmm. Yes. Deep velvety chewy vanilla deliciousness. I used the recipe
here. The basic recipe is so simple and relatively easy and now I'm coming up with all sorts of great flavor ideas: mint, lemon, chocolate (of course), strawberry, almond, rum. Fantastic!
And thus begins my long dark trek down the road of candymaking.
