The Bean is doing fine as is his/her support system.
terriergirl's finally got the nausea behind her and has moved right into her rabid carnivorous phase. Terrier can now separate Bean's movements from gas, although she has the same thing to say about the description of the baby's motion as "a light flutter" as she did about the understatement of earlier "nausea" and "fatigue". Apparently Bean is a champion gymnast and kick boxer. Somehow, despite being all of 100 pounds, Terrier still isn't showing much, she looks pretty much like you'd expect after a really big meal. But Bean is the right size and Terrier's comfortable and healthy so I'm not going to worry too much. Besides, she'll probably blow up like a balloon in a few weeks.
The only thing that might become a complication is that the placenta is a little low as of our last ultrasound. It's likely that it will be fine, and that the point it's attached to the uterus will move up the uterine wall. (A uterus grows something like a skinny balloon, and what starts out very near the bottom can wind up halfway up the uterine wall when it's fully "inflated".) If it doesn't move, we'll be doing a C-section which excites Terrier not at all. So think "placenta suitably high on the uterine wall" thoughts so that Terrier and I can discover all the joys of natural childbirth.
