Sheik stared; jaw slack. No way in hell! Link was kneeling before him with a ring in hand (in front of Zelda no less) and the only things that the Sheikah could do was open and close his mouth like a fish out of water in attempt to gather the right words. “It’s my mothers ring, the Deku Tree held onto it for me…” While Link spoke, Zelda took the opportunity to sneak out of the room, leaving Sheik to fend for himself. “You do know that marriage is between a man and a woman don’t you?”
”Wait! You’re a man?” Link joked as he stood up and pulled down Sheik’s cowl; kissing him quickly. He closed the Sheikah’s hand around the golden ring.
