Appearance: Raziel inhabits a ruined and blasted vessel of his former glory. He has no skin, no eyes, and no organs. His visage is skeletal, wraithlike, with three sharp talons on his hands and feet akin to cloven hooves. Two flaps of skin join the muscles of his back, twice as long as his arm, and are the remnants of his wings. His entire body is tinted blue, with the exception of a rather foppish head of black hair, and white orbs of light in place of his eyes.
He wears nothing, having little to cover, except a cowl that was once his clan emblem. It was once a deep blood-red in colour, with the symbol of the Razeilim stark in white, but now it is faded to a dingy brown. It covers his nose and what would be his chin, if he had one.
All of Raziel’s appearance is rather eye-grabbing, but perhaps the most impressive thing about him is the wraithblade he bears. Thrumming along his arm, the Soul Reaver shines with a brilliant light, powerful and now pure. If one looks closely enough in the haze, they can see the ghostly shape of the Reaver blade, Raziel’s claw curled around the hilt.
Personality: Raziel is a very honourable man. Everything he does, he does with the utter conviction that he is doing the right thing. He is extremely zealous to his cause and follows whatever it happens to be with a relentless fervour. It is one of the traits that he has kept through all of his incarnations. He is, unfortunately because of this, usually extremely rash and does not think things through, only stopping to question his actions after he has done the deed.
This extreme devotion to his cause often blinds Raziel to the true nature of the path he is taking. As a result he is very easy to lead and be forced to do the wrong thing. In his own world, Nosgoth, Raziel is the one creature who is not bound to the Wheel of Fate, and yet he is often led into following its machinations because of his blind trust in the rightness of his actions.
Raziel knows that he is very easily led, and he hates when he finds himself in the situation, even though it is one he finds himself in often. As a result he is often referred to as a ‘pawn’ and utterly hates it. Understandably, he wants to be a free agent, but ultimately Raziel desires answers, and understands that he needs those who know them. It often angers him - indeed, Raziel is usually frustrated with himself and the situations he finds himself in, feeling that he is being mislead at every single turn.
Raziel is the type to ramble a little (or a lot) about his surroundings, often observing important details that many would think trivial. However, if they are not directly linked to what he needs, he instantly forgets them. Raziel is also usually driven to violence rather than actively seeking it. He attacks with a frenetic and very uncaring mindset. He can be very cold and uncaring in relation to those who cross him, and devours souls without much care for their fate.
History: As Razierl’s history loops in on itself quite a great deal,

Abilities
Physical: Raziel is surprisingly strong, but physically his main offense comes in his speed. Not weighed down with organs like most of the other creatures he will come across, he is usually able to fight them even if he is weaker. His claws are very sharp and able to dig into rock and stone easily enough. He is also able to displace himself, allowing him to move through barred areas (gates, etc - not sheer rock).
As should be obvious, Raziel does not eat like most others. He devours souls, and can either pull down his cowl and draw the soul to where his mouth once was, or can rip the soul from the body, usually through the heart.
Mental: Raziel has some power with Telekinesis. He is able to lift people up with his mind and throw them, or create small blasts to knock others off balance.
Symbiotic: Of all his powers, however, the most noted of Raziel's comes from the wraithblade on his arm - a weapon known as the Soul Reaver. Since its purification by the Guardians of Nosgoth, this weapon has become known as the Spirit Reaver. It glows with a blinding white light, and when it is swung, a high chant echoes. This changes depending on which Reaver Raziel chooses to activate - he has several. They all have spells that can be activated with prolonged use of that particular Reaver - they are as follows:
Spirit - purifies all it touches, very powerful weapon.
Earth - causes tremours in the ground that can throw enemies off course.
Water - freezes enemies for a short while.
Air - creates a blast of air to knock enemies off their feet.
Fire - sets things on fire/burns all surrounding enemies.
Light - blinds enemies with a bright flash.
Dark - cloaks Raziel in shadow for a brief period.
