Two days in a row...
At the exact time I'm about to walk out the backdoor to get the mower and mow the lawn....
I suddenly discover its raining.
After that, no matter how brief the rain, its no longer a suitable day to mow.
Friday or Saturday, we leave for a week in rural upstate NY -- to see family and friends, and hopefully the kids have not outgrown playing games with me -- and hopefully I can drag them away from the Nintendo or whatever they play.
The wheels in my head are turning. I put the applet down... it really has no bearing on my understanding of JDBC, and is another topic for another time. Someone did reply to my post at the SUN java boards, and suggested indirectly that my question should be answered by the derby database documentation. I think that's probably right -- with emphasis on the word SHOULD.
I no longer have a burning desire to post anything. It vanished. Inspiration remains, but sharing is just a low priority. The everyday happenings and personages will always be alike. And the over-arching themes will wait.
I had even cropped a little icon of the Priestess -- to symbolize the principle of self-trust. But what more is there to say about it? Well, maybe there is something....
