Fourth Drop: recovering and a lack of depth perception

The City certainly has good quality facilities here in the hospital. Alphonse, Penny, the doctor whose name I still don't know, thank you. At least the sidhe didn't manage to open my lethal wound altogether, or my brain would be damaged beyond repair. Unfortunately, dying once restores my entire perception; having that eye damaged again simply gives me one less eye. Hopefully one of the doctors here will know enough magic or technology to restore it; otherwise, I suppose I'll invest in a patch and a retraining of my senses.

Ah, it is good to be back in my right mind, after such delirium. I haven't felt that in years except for the mere seconds before my own death. I will be all right; the doctors here say that I lost a lot of blood, but aside from the eye, I have no irreparable injuries.

I have more stitches than I've ever had at one time...getting them all removed won't be very pleasant. I don't look forward to it.

Lieutenant Hawkeye, I believe I owe you an explanation -- and a request.

You sound so young, for a man who can operate a seven-foot suit of armor! You also give off a faint aura of spiritual energy, as if your soul is unstable, or you are already dead, but not enough to make that judgment altogether. Are you a magical creature of some kind?

everyone is made of win, healing time, whoa how did i make it through that
