Hello, new shows, how I've missed you over this long break we've had.
Well, not actually, since I've been filling my dead space with a lot of Brit TV. And reality programming.
But nothing quite hits the spot as returning favorites. \o/ Gossip Girl was new last night and I rather enjoyed it. :) And Supernatural starts again this week. WHICH I AM THRILLED BEYOND THE TELLING OF IT. Seriously. If only I had some Heroes thrown in, this would have been the BEST WEEK EVER. I would have thrown my hands in the air and started hugging perfect strangers in the street! It's still all very good and I am overflowing with HAPPY at the moment.
All things considered it's a VERY GOOD WEEK. (Sorry about the caps. I start getting overexcited and capslocking all over the place when I don't know what else to do but shout for pure joy. Hee!)
I'm a little behind on my music, since I was a bit out of it yesterday. But here are the "D"s:
Dirrty in Dixieland - Christina Aguilera vs. New Orleans Jazz Band"Seriously the best crack mash-up.
Don't Fear the Reaper - Gus BlackA much more subdued cover. Totally awesome, stripped down.
Don't Stop Me Now - Queen and the "E"s
Early Winter - Gwen Stefani Elegy for Dunkirk - Dario Marianelli (from the Atonement soundtrack)Even if you haven't seen this movie, never plan to, or have no idea what this movie even is - this is still some awesomely powerful music. The men's chorus singing "Dear Lord and Father of Mankind" makes me want to cry every time I hear it, and the emotion of it transcends the movie.
If I'm feeling froggy I'll post the F's tonight - if not tomorrow I'll just do another double post to catch up.
