Last night I signed up for translatorsbase.com, so hopefully I can start getting a little extra income here and there from that. Plus, I recently set up my linkedin account, so maybe I can get some new Gaelic connections.

I'm still trying to flesh out what I want to do with the new blog. Gaelic is winning out at the moment (not in the poll, but in my own mind), and I'm thinking about doing some neat things with it. Perhaps some Gaelic news, and interviews with Gaelic musicians (I have three in mind at the moment, maybe a fourth one if he gets going on that new album of his), some book reviews too, and maybe even a word-of-the-day feature? What do you think? A lot of it would be in English, or at least subtitled.

Anything else you can think of that would be neat to see on a blog of that sort? Even if you aren't really interested in Scotland/Gaelic, imagine you are trying to learn another language or are already fairly fluent and want to keep up with current events and such. What would you want to read about?

blogging, posts.public, language.gaelic
