Well...
All that disillusionment as never seen in the old days; all that fire; rebellion against who-knows-what. It tired me.
Sought some untangible truth in many places. Drugs, philosophies, arts...
Became vain and egoistic, never realizing my own social ineptness, living in illusion;
And when this truth was finally in my grasp, found that it wasn't "all that" at all; I was a dog chasing my own tale.
Bit it and saw the reality of subjectivity; became lost in contradictions thereafter.
Too many truths to bear
Then, tried to convey newfound hopelessness to others, now seeking brilliance in futility.
Wrote lenghty passages full of strange images; vague sense.
Wasn't taken seriously. My "season in hell"; my inferno was thought of as nothing but wordy babble.
Became bitter, almost cynical for a short while.
Eventually calmed down and saw my stupidity; I'm not the bee's knees and my ideas aren't either.
Made it easier to realize that I live in a world where everything and nothing is true,
surely nothing worth debating and arguing over,
the main occupation of humanity being the creation of truths.
Subjectivity
So beautiful and rich. Even meaningful; as far as one can stretch this term.
Human conciousness just the universe playing with itself;
infusing this wonderful ape-folk with ability to form complex images and words; culture and history.
The ability to label and interpret, the ability to differentiate, feel, and create.
Abstract thought, imagination, art...
So much of this world still unknown to me...
Must read, read, and read! Excellent way to "expand conciousness"
Most realms of human thought/ideas have already been explored by others.
I want to be in on that.
My immediate culture (and especially its evolution) allows for more possibilities,
so maybe I too can contribute eventually.
Wouldn't seek to rescuciate any "dead art" though,
Nothing's "dead" as long as it can be acknowledged
Also, enough with this proof-proving; philosophy of action is more practical for the players than "everything flows"
Leave metaphysics to those in danger of being extras
