The Death of Summer
The Death of Summer has fallen over my school district this evening. Though the summer was great, full of hanging out with friends, going to the pool, vacation, boyfriends, and one of my personal favorites the new contests at the Forum. That's the Obidala forum for all you non-members.
Most things this summer have gone well, but as expected, a few downfalls. And tommorrow as I head off to school, the chance of making one last summer memory will disappear. Other summers will come, yes, and the school year will be filled with more Forum challenges and weekends of video games, food, movies and laughter, but it's always hard for me to watch summer die.
So all you college kids be happy you're away from your parents, and all you adults be happy you now have a few hours a day where you know your children are safe and you can relax. And to all you adults without kids, life continues on normally for you(ha ha, no summer breaks in your work for you!!lol) Ohh, and kids?(thought I'd forgotten you, didn't you?) Try to get good grades! Try not to do anything too stupid(though sometimes we can't help it) and first of all and most of all, have fun! It is the death of summer, but it's also the beginning of seeing your friends everyday!

Pointless, wasn't it? I had to post SOMETHING so I just got the whole 'death of summer' feeling out of my system. On the brighter side of life, I'm working on a vid for contest(yes, I KNOW I'm almost out of time) and I might be able to start making some Obidala art! Now, off to write my 100 word challenge post and get some sleep for tommorrow! Cheerio, lads and lasses! Cheerio!
