So, the Discovery Channel is airing a documentary on UFO sightings over Scotland. One gentleman has the theory that there is a certain underground base (masquerading as a NATO base) that serves as an interplanetary command and control centre. Well, that's not precisely the wording they used, because their wording used the word "empire", which got me thinking, where's the money?
If we look at history, the only example, EVER, of people going somewhere just to look at something, is people going to the zoo. The overriding factor in any exploration, any long-distance travels is money. The ancient Greeks travelled to Iberia to establish trading relationships, ditto for Marco Polo. England sent the Pilgrims to the New World to expand the empire, and then started taxing them. So, if aliens really are here on earth, or if they run the world, or even if we run their world, how is it that all of our money can be accounted for? (no matter how corrupt the purpose). We don't have any extra money from taxing the aliens, we don't have a lack of money from being taxed by the aliens, or from buying their super-high-tech weapons. The world's economy is untouched by extraterrestrial factors.
Thus, since the aliens have not displayed any reason for visiting earth, they must not exist.
