Back again!
Well, this is my second account here at LJ. My last username was just retarded and I thought I would start over again LoL...so, here I am! ^_^
I think Claudia got me back into it and made me realize that LJ is actually really cool! It's great for different community sections and all that good stuff =) So go check out her wicked wicked wicked site You Show Girl!!!
Well, Easter Week break went well =) We (Mom, Dad & I) flew up to Dartmouth, NS untill Thursday, March 31at. We flew back to Newfoundland on tat day at 12:50pm and went into Corner Brook. We went in there because I had to do a Sea Cadet test...to become a Qualified 1st Class Petty Officer. THat went "ok". I was pissed at first though LOL. It was just me in there from my corp because the other 3 girls who had to do the test were coming in from Ramea (thats where I live) later that day because on THursday it was too bad of a day for our ferry to leave the island. SO, I was in the center from 8:30am till about 11am waitin' for them to show up all the morning while my group of 6 girls completed our drill and power of command testing.
THat got me going alltogether [power of command]. We had to teach a small drill lesson, you see, to our group. So, when I was finished, I had to get de=briefed by the judging officer. I thought I did ok, right? Of course it would be a bit intimidating and hard since I was getting judged/marked by this stern officer dude and I was the only person in there from my corp and I was doing this in front of people whom I've never seen in my life before...so yeah, it was a bit nerveracking, to say the least. So I went to get debriefed and here are the comments officer dude tells me:
"Well, you failed that part...you just didn't have it, you didn't know what you were talking about...you have no friends you didn't laugh or giggle...you definitely lack confidence you can see that, you're red in the face..."
WTF.
This upset me more than knowing that I failed...I mean, how nice of him to tell me that I have no friends?? I mean, come on, that was pretty low and, errm, stupid?
Well, I just wanted to tell you all because that pretty much pissed me off then and there!
At 11am the rest of Ramea showed up....-sigh- [sigh of relief, haha]
I passed everyhting else I had to do that day, btw, so technically I didn't pass the exam as a whole, because you need to pass everything, I'm sure of it...well, actually I'm not sure, lol, I'll let you now if I did or if I didn't on Friday, because we have cadets on Thursday night.
