Never say you know the last word about any human heart.

I haven’t been online in a week. My days are made of work and sleep. And I’m tired.

Since Thursday I have been working the 12-hour shifts. The first night was ok as I wasn’t alone. There’s this, let’s call her a temp. She’s the daughter of the secretary and she’s helping out during her school holidays until the bosses return. So Thursday I was showing her around, what’s going on at night etc. She’s a little younger than me, but we got along very well and talked and talked and talked all night. So, it went ok, but she was close to falling asleep when our colleague arrived at 7 am the next morning. I was groggy, too, but ok, as I’m used to staying up all night anyway.

The next night and since, I am alone at night and well, let’s just say it can get loooong. Especially if I got nothing to do, so I try to keep myself busy with whatever. I started to read a lot again and I’m watching dvds at night. As I don’t have an internet stick, I haven’t checked my mails or LJ in the whole week - AND I MISS IT! Gosh, how much I do! And my shows!!! I haven’t watched last week’s shows and OMFG True Blood started and I haven’t even watched that yet!!! AND I missed the BoB rewatch last Saturday! And probably I’ll miss the finale next week, too, AND the first two episodes of The Pacific. Maybe even all if I don’t get the dvds first! FML!

Also - How come I didn't even know that season 4 of Leverage started, too!!?? And season 2 of Rookie Blue!! Damn! So much to catch up on...!

Every few days, the daughter of the colleagues who went with my bosses on vacation, comes over to check on their fish and plants, and sometimes, she stays a while and we talk. That’s nice. As well are the other neighbors. They talk a lot, too, and keep offering me coffee or tea, and on Monday, they brought me Toast Hawaii, which was yummy! So, I’m not completely alone and time goes by when there’s somebody else with me. Plus, there’s a pool at which I sat the other day and was reading, too. **sighs** That’s life! **g**

Things to do:

+ Check flist
+ Check mails
+ DL shows (as far as I’ve got the time to do so…)
+ Online shopping for clothes (I see it coming, my vacation at the Baltic Sea comes up and I don’t even have a bathing suit…)

I didn’t get any writing done in those long shifts, so far. First, I thought that I’ll have plenty of time for that, but so far, nothing. My muse is on strike. I think she wants to sleep as much as I do…

Last but not least - HAPPY BELATED BIRTHDAY aussi1988!!!

TV watched: Any Human Heart [♥], The Good Wife 1.01 - 1.16

Finally I’ve watched all episodes of it - and it continued being a Kyle-squee-fest! **g**

Must be the hoodie. :P

"You smell like death."

And in the end - there’s no happy end!! Both, Henry and Mike, leave Vicki! In the books, she got to be with both for some time at least. Makes me kinda sad…

What amused me much was when Mike called Henry “Captain Midnight” and “Commander Canine”!

I was waiting and hoping that they’d do episodes based on the books and they did!
Ep. 16 was a little different version of book 6 (one of the short stories).
Ep. 14 - book 2
Ep. 19 - book 4 (I think, #4, the one with the mummy?)
Ep. 1+2 - book 1

Help her - You can't - Go

In the end, turned into...

Go - You can't - Help her

Cool! ;)

Tattoo I see you! My god!

Bonus. :P

Derek wants Stiles to cut off his infected arm:

Stiles: I can't do it!
Derek: What? You'll faint at the sight of blood?
Stiles: No, but I might at the sight of a chopped off arm!

P.S.: Thanks for the vgift luinalda! (Before I forget to mention that, too. :P)
