And what was the funniest thing that came out of this? Someone brought this to my attention. Holy shit, I'm cracking up so hard about this!!!

Btw, I didn't work today after all. First, my boss called to tell me that they were still at home, so I could come in later, - three hours later! When I eventually got there, they were still there, too. My boss was doing the laundry even! So, I thought, doesn't look like they're going anywhere anytime soon. o.O I heard her calling her husband, boss #2. Apparently, they wanted to grill at a pond or something but it was pouring down like mad! You can't imagine! Like the world was about to end! But well, the men were already there and still tried to fire up the grill - where there wasn't a roof above the grill. *rolleyes* After another half an hour, they eventually realized that it wouldn't work making a fire in the pouring rain and my boss told me that they weren't going to the pond then, after all, so I could go home again. :P
Later, I drove into town to get Chinese takeout and when I was in the restaurant, it started to rain again. And for the first time since I have my car, I had to put the windshield wipers on their highest level! But by the time I got home, it had really started to pour down again and there was thunder and lightning!! I was already imagining myself being struck by lightning, with the Tom Kha Gai soup in my hands, spring rolls flying around me. :P And then I took the bags in my left hand, the keys in the right hand, waited for another lightning to be over and then I jumped out of the car - only to see my father coming with an umbrella to get me into the house dry. I didn't fear the rain of course, but the lightning. Usually, I don't fear storms, but that freaked me a little. You know, when you're smack in the middle of it. o.O
