I'm still here! \o/ Wow, don't even remember when I've been writing here the last time. o.O But I'm ok, I'm good, nothing happened, only that - again and as always - time is running away. I think it's afraid. But oh, the weather is beautiful!! Yesterday and today, I was woken by birds chirping and the sun was shining and it was warm! And all of a sudden, I don't have any problems getting up! But still, usually, until I'm done making myself something to eat or whatever, it's evening again and I have to go to work again. Although, I should do other things too, like really, really go to town sometime very soon, as my ID has expired... uhm, a while ago? :P
But no negative thoughts now - work, no time - when I'm feeling really good actually. I have to catch up on some things and it also seems that comment notifications are slowly coming back to me. So, that helps a lot, too.
The lovely ale_writes sent me her Sherlock dvds the other day, so I could check it out, as well as season 1 of The Wire, which I have on my Amazon UK wishlist, but wanted to check it out first, too, before buying it. I was amazed that she offered to send me the dvds as we have only added each other a few weeks ago. But we're GK girls, so we're all good at heart, right? <3

First, I thought it would be like an old version, playing back then in an old London, like the original Sherlock Holmes stories. I didn't even figure it out when I saw the dvd cover, as I - oh so blind - never read this subtitle, "A new sleuth for the 21st century". *facepalm* So, only when I started watching and they were sending each other text messages via cell phone, I was like, ooooh, it's a new version! LOL
And, alright, after exactly 10 minutes, I could say, I like it! Much! *g* How Sherlock knows things and him and Watson being flatmates is too funny! I was smiling like crazy about them! haha And Sherlock's quick conclusions - I love it!
I forgot how much I like murder mysteries like that. And omg, the ending of season 1! ale_writes, you were right! Welcome me to the club of the waiting! I've got to see season 2!!
And just last night, I finished The Wire season 1!
I LIKE IT!!! I'm sure I'll get the dvds myself sometime soon then. :D
The lead (McNulty) reminds me of Misha Collins. I think they look alike. *g*
In ep. 4, I was lmao when Herc tried to move a desk in an office but then it was "stuck", as from the other side, the guys tried to push it out! LMAO! hahaha
"It's kinda fun figuring shit out." - I guess they found a perfect use for Prez after all, - without him having to use his gun. ;)
Omg, I would love to scream at the ignorant jerks at the department! Sabotaging the whole case! Argh!
Ep. 12: "Sergeant Hauk?" - "God help us." haha *g* But then he didn't make Sergeant anyway?
And omg, I was completely shocked when they shot Wallace! :( But maybe even more when we found out that Carver was the mole?! I didn't expect that.
All in all, great characters, cool case, and first, I thought that it wouldn't be that interesting because it's only about this one drug case, but it was really surprising and great!
I love it when Jacob does the "Previously on Justified" bits. *g*
Omg! Winona took all the money! O_O Unexpected! But why are they bringing it back after everybody saw that it was missing? Isn't that more suspicious, if, all of a sudden, it's back?!
