Not working tonight, so it's Oscar night for me! Watching since 1999 - every year!
I'm so not sleeping well this week.
I wish I could blame it on something like a full moon, but that was already last week, so that's not it, I guess. I'm having problems falling asleep in the morning when I get home from work, but it's also not the early sunrise, I think, as I've been sleeping better before, too.
And the dreams... Very intense. Yesterday, I've been dreaming about dead people. I didn't know them, but I knew they were dead. And then I died myself and had to go to hell. - With Zachary Quinto! Ok, no bad way of dying there. :P But still, weird.
And the day before that, I dreamed of a guy I went to school with, - and who I haven't seen in three years. So why am I dreaming of him now?
There's also something I dreamed about which I don't remember anymore. But when I woke up, I felt miserable and was close to crying! The last time that happened I had dreamed of my grandmother, after she had died. :(
What does that all mean??
Work was good last night, although I've been there 10 hours, two hours longer than usual. I thought it would be quiet but like every half an hour there was something going on. First, the phone rang twice, which is too weird, as it almost never rings during my shift. I'm almost not used to the ringtone. haha Then, only 40 minutes after I got there, my boss returned. She said she wasn't feeling well and wanted to lie down a bit. After another 45 minutes, she went back to the party again (the reason why I had to cover Saturday). Maybe an hour later, she was back to bring her kids home and then she went away again. At 3 am, they all got back - totally drunk! And I have no idea how to talk to people that are that drunk! One never knows whether they mean it serious or not. There was a friend of my boss's and he was like, "Hi! I'm..." Nothing. "...the vacation." Even my boss looked at him like o.O and said, "Yeah, you're the vacation." Omg! LOL
I read a bit, watched a movie my boss gave me and then I also watched my shows. The night was over rather quickly. And now I'm off until tomorrow night.
Rudolf Martin!!! :D Ha! I thought I had read on IMDB that Ashton was back again in this episode, but he wasn't. But Rudolf was a nice surprise.
And I think I'll have to google this Nathan guy. I know him from somewhere...
Amanda wants Alex canceled!! O_O
Michael at Nikita's house! "Ask me how I got here." Uuuuh!! So bamf!
Bonnie without powers? I can't bring myself to care.
What do we learn? A flamethrower always does the trick! ;)
Caroline manipulating the band's singer to help her out. And it works. haha That was sweet of her. I ♥ Matt so much!!
No one wants Damon! :( Not even Katherine (at first). No wonder he became the person he is now.
OMG! I knew something would happen to Matt! It was too good to be true... BUT THEN CAROLINE GIVES HIM HER BLOOD!! And she tells him everything, - and he freaks! :(
I liked the cat and mouse play with Elena and Katherine. But wow, I actually really jumped when Luka's father wasn't dead first! O_O
Awesome of Damon to reject Katherine! hehe
Isobel!
Mark Pellegrino!! :D
I gotta say I don't like Fiona all that much, but Michael and his mother are great, and Michael's voiceover. *g*
"Asking my mom for anything is a lot like getting a favor from a Russian mob boss. He'll give you what you want with a smile, but believe me, you'll pay for it."
Sam: "Listen, Mike, I understand you got a situation, but so do I. I mean, I'm covering for you, but if I lose my pension, you're gonna be changing my diapers when I'm 95 and drooling."
Michael: "Sam, I would never let that happen. I'd smother you with a pillow first." *g*
I still don't know if I like it or not. It's definitely not bad, but there hasn't been a real spark yet. But I'll keep watching.
Also started Carnivale. Damn. It's interesting. Just what I needed, another show. Sometimes I'm hoping that I don't like something. LOL My brother actually asked why I'm watching shows that aren't on tv here, instead of rather catching up with the shows that air here, like The Mentalist. But... I mean... That's the whole point! Watching something that doesn't air here! Shows that air here, of those I at least know that they're gonna be released on dvd, at some point.
Anyway...
Ha! Didn't know that Tim DeKay was on this, too. :) And I gotta admit, I like looking at Nick Stahl. :P
When Sophie read Ben's cards and said he's got something to hide, a talent, there I said to myself, shoot, I like it. *g*
TV watched: Marchlands Part 4 [I'm excited how it's gonna end!]
Movies watched: Have you heard about the Morgans? // The Curious Case of Benjamin Button
OSCARS! NOW! Pre-show at least. I'm still kinda hoping for Jesse Eisenberg or James Franco. But of what I'm 100% sure is that Natalie Portman is gonna win the thing. ;)
