Leverage is back and no one told me! How could that happen?! o.O I knew the end of episode 13 felt like a weird season finale. So, this season is a full season? I feel so left out of everything...

Finished watching Buffy season 1 this morning before I went to bed. *g* Here are some thoughts, quotes and favorite scenes.
It was really cool watching this again! And I already have season 2 next to the dvd player. hehe
Isn't it weird of me that I sometimes thought they're overdoing stuff, like with the mantis episode. But yeah, of course vampire and demons exist in my word. LOL
Soo, what did we have in season 1?
+ The Master! I never really got why he was trapped underground. Only Jenny Calendar mentioned in the last episode that before, the Master had tried to open the Hellmouth but got stuck himself. *lights go on*
+ The Anointed One! That boy is creepy!
+ Angel! But... why didn't Buffy realize earlier that he's a vampire? She's supposed to know that, right? ;)
+ Xander's Tweety watch [Ep. 5] - *giggles*
+ Some well-known guest actors! The first one to die on the show - through Darla - was Carmine Giovinazzo, from CSI: NY [Ep. 1]!
Then we had Eric Balfour!! Omg I totally forgot that he was on this!! [Ep. 1+2]
Chad Lindberg!!! Ha! :D
+ We find out that Giles was 10 years old when his father told him that he would become a watcher! What a burden, huh?
+ When Xander was bewitched by a hyena [Ep. 6], the cage in the library was used as a cell for the first time. There would be many other times...
+ First time Joyce gets bitten by a vampire [Ep. 7] - and it was Darla!
Speaking of Darla - Angel stakes her, the vampire who made him! When you think about what they experienced together and everything, that was quite surprising and harsh!
+ Ms Calendar appears! (I thought it would be later) And she already knows about supernatural stuff and all!
+ Funny that Buffy always is in trouble with Cordelia when there's a prom or dance or something, like in ep. 11, and later again, I remember.
+ Kinda weird seeing the bitchy Cordelia and later, she hooks up with Angel. Hard to imagine now. I think besides Willow, she went through the biggest change. But she also reveals a lot about her personal self when she tells Buffy, that she hurts, too, sometimes and that she rather spends her time with the bullies at school, than being alone, although most of the time, she's different and doesn't want to be mean.
+ I love the scene when Angel stands next to Giles [Ep. 11] but Giles can't see Angel's reflection in the mirror and jumps in his skin.
+ Mr Snyder [Ep. 9] "I will not tolerate students loitering on campus after school hours, and murder where hearts are being removed. And also smoking." - Like it's all the same!! That man is a psycho! o.O Same thing later on, when he's gonna get eaten by this Hellmouth demon, - and he tries to argue with it!
+ Sid the dummy [Ep.9] - so creepy! o.O
+ Demons, vampires, I can take it all - but not the spiders from ep. 10!! O_O
+ Buffy the vampire slayer! [Ep. 10] Just imagine a slayer with the extra powers of a vampire!
+ When the FBI took the invisible girl [Ep. 11] to a center where she learned about "Assasination and Infiltration", that's kinda creepy to imagine. If that were true...
+ Buffy's the one to free the Master! He's also the first vampire to bite her - and she dies! For the first time. And Xander saves her. Next time, it will be Willow.
Time for Slayer #2!
+ "If the Apocalypse comes, beep me." [Ep. 5] - This makes me giggle every time!
+ "Giles, I'm 16 years old. I don't wanna die." [Ep. 12] - So very sad! :(
+ "I may be dead, but I'm still pretty. Which is more than I can say for you." [Ep. 12] - Buffy FTW! hehe
And also the whole "In every generation, there is a Chosen One..." gives me goose bumps - I love it!!!
Oh I could go on about future episodes with a discussion [btw, are there still active Buffy comms out there??] and I would love to post vids and pics, but maybe this would go beyond the scope! Plus I'm not good at making picspams and things, and I haven't made caps myself. What I do have though are a few promo pics that were once posted by andreas_ri.
Off to season 2!!! :D
