I'm still here

And busy. Have been working at the mall yesterday and today and there's so much to do now. I'm also handling the phone now and each call that comes in, I have to transfer, but here's the thing - they don't want to take the calls! Someone called for the management, I had them on hold and called the manager. I asked her if she had a moment, she said yes but when I said who's on the phone, she said that she has time, but not for this person, or then, she said she just doesn't want to talk to them. Why can't she just take the call if she has time and would get done with it, and not put it off?? *rolleyes* She would get so much done! Same with the secretary. She came to work at 9:30 am and I think by 10, she was stressed out already. She and the manager rejected calls like five or six times. Then I decided to tell everyone who called that no one's there, took a note and that's it. Now they can call them back or not, I don't care. No my problem. *shrugs*

But I also had nice moments at work today. People keep telling me that I'm a nice person on a regular basis. Today again. A woman asked something about the stores, I answered and when she went away, she turned around, smiled and said, "You're very kind!" Well, thank you! *g* That made my day, I think. I started to smile immediately. :) And in the evening, a man came who couldn't speak much German, nor understand it, and he asked me to help him fill out a form and I did. When we were done, he asked me if I wanted a coffee or something. I said, sure, and he got me coffee with milk and sugar. Very nice. *g* I don't drink coffee that often, but hey, it was free and it was a nice gesture. :)

Funny thing: We have a circus in the mall at the moment and they're doing little shows three times a day. Usually, I work and can't watch it, but today, I stretched my break a bit and watch 10-15 minutes of it. There was a clown (not at all creepy btw :P) and he asked a kid to join him on stage. Guess what the kid's name was - Dean! Ha! You can imagine that I started to think of THE Dean immediately, right? I mean, that name is rare in Germany, so I was surprised. ;)

How could I miss my boy Bradley's birthday?? O_O Too much work and no fun... Yeah...

I'll leave for Cologne in two days and haven't packed anything, yet. Now it's already after midnight and I really should go to bed as I'll have to go to the mall again tomorrow, so I also won't pack tonight, either.
Should be an easy day tomorrow. No one will be there in the office. No secretary, no colleagues. Only the manager, but who knows when she'll decide to turn up. Today it was almost noon, I think. Don't care actually. I'll just take notes when someone calls and that's it. Then I'm off and will see Kyle in three two days. *g*

I'll check in once more tomorrow evening when I get home from work and leave a proper bye-bye post. ;)

Btw, I think I have sore muscles - from sitting! Is that even possible? o.O
