What? o.O
I had a pretty interesting day at work.
So, as I mentioned yesterday already, we had a center clearing today. People were suspecting something and kept asking if there's something going on, but I had orders not to tell anything, so I played stupid and said that it was all new to me and I didn't know a thing. :P
At around 10:15 am, an alarm went off and we all got out. Two people crossed my way and asked what was going on and what we had to do. And I was like, aren't you listening to this damn loud alarm that makes it almost impossible to talk? *rolleyes* Anyway, after 20 minutes it was over and we could go in again.
Chaos started all over again when people came to me and told me that they drove into the parking garage but couldn't get a ticket, so how were they supposed to get out again? *sighs* That was a problem the whole day.
Then late in the afternoon, I got a WEIRD phone call. First, I even thought that one of my colleagues was playing games on me or something. A man called and it went something like this:
Him: Yeah, I need to talk with you about the computer.
Me: Which computer?
Him: The one I bought from you.
Me: *confused already* I'm sorry, but which computer?
Him: I bought it from you on eBay.
Me: *even more confused* I'm sorry, but who did you want to talk to? [I thought he tried calling a shop and got the wrong number or something]
Him: [I could hear him grin or smile] You! I bought this computer from you on eBay, but it has no Windows but I need that to write my poetry. You know, I'm a poet.
Me: *close to saying "What happened to pen and paper?" Uhuh...
Him: So, what are we going to do about the computer?
Me: You know that you called the shopping center bla bla bla...? Who did you want to talk to exactly?
Him: Oh no, you can't do this! You have to fix it! Fix the computer!
Me: *o.O* I'm sorry, but I have no idea what you're talking about.
Him: Oh, you know exactly what I'm talking about!
Me: I'm sorry... o.O *simply confused*
Him: Okay, then I'll just send it back to you.
Me: Okay.
I still have NO idea what this guy was talking about! Told it a colleague later and she asked if I hadn't burst out into a laugh. LOL That was just the weirdest thing. So, today, definitely wasn't a boring day. ;)
And oooh, before I forget! Two days ago I was squeeing all over the place! I participated in a summer riddle on a German Rudolf Martin fansite [If you don't know him, he's a German actor was played for example Ari Haswari on NCIS or Dracula on Buffy!] and you could win a signed photo. And holy friggin' cow I won!!! \o/
It's the second autograph that I'm getting from him, and the person from the website said that she doubted that I'd still be excited and happy about it because I already have one, but YES I am!! :D
