The one where I collapse
O-M-G!!! What a week!!! I haven't been online in almost five days! WTF?? o.O That's so not me, but I just didn't have the time, nor the energy, really. I usually came home at around 9, 9:30 pm and then I didn't do anything at all. As soon as I lay on my bed I fell asleep. - And at 6 am my night was over already again! *sighs* It's been a really ass-long and exhausting week. My new working schedule for this week again says that I have to work from Monday-Saturday, from 9:30 am - 8 pm! On September, 5th, there's an open Sunday at the shopping mall. I'll kill them if I have to work then! I like the work there, I really do. I'm with people, I get to talk much (my passion LOL), it's a great job, yes. :) But it's just so long. I need at least another day off, not just Sunday. Because I also can't do anything! If I lived on my own, I couldn't even go grocery shopping because I'm away the whole day. It's crazy! My co-worker mentioned that she talked to our boss (Six people from the security firm work at the shopping mall at the moment. Three security, three info/office, including me) and that the boss mentioned that she hired someone new, who lives nearby, so it would be easier for this person to work there, instead of having me drive there an hour each morning. And the boss wanted to bring her to work to show her around etc. But so far, I haven't heard anything from the boss, so no idea when or if that's gonna happen.
I will do this one more week, if I don't hear anything else, but then I'd talk to the boss again, because I can't work six days a week on long-term. It's just too much. Of course, it's great to earn the money, but I've caught a cold already. Probably from the many people there or from the air conditioning, I don't know. And I also need at least one more day off to go to the travel agency to get my train ticket to Hannover. Because - *eek* - in three weeks, I'll be on my way to 1nagromniloc and then we'll be together on our way to Pierrefonds, France! And hopefully, I'll spend much time with Bradley and Colin! *g*
Btw, work related stuff.
+ Yesterday, a woman came up to me and asked if I could be a witness for her being at the shopping mall. She told me she had the arrangement with her ex-husband that he takes the kids every two weeks and it was his turn but he didn't show up, and she already talked to her lawyer and now she wants a written statement with me as witness that she was at the mall. Uhm... no. I didn't do that. Who knows what would've come out of that. In the end, I had to go to court or something. No way. Something told me that she and her ex didn't seperate in peace. LOL
+ There's an old woman who calls each and everyone "darling". I'm the "new darling". LOL She also gives me cookies and chocolate and talks much nonsense. Someone mentioned that she comes to the mall since 2002 - every day!!! O_O
+ Yesterday, some people came to me and said that they somehow lost their parking card. After the fifth or so said that they paid and then when they got to their car, the card was gone, I said, "wow, that's so weird. I heard that same story like four or five times already today." haha Really. They have to pay 30 cents for one hour parking but still try to get a free parking card somehow. LOL
+ There was a guy who said that he lost his friend somewhere in the mall and if I was able to say through the speaker that this friend should come to the info where he was waiting, you know? I said, I can only tell my co-worker up in the office when it's the case of a lost child, or the other way around, kids looking for their parents. But no adults. And I said, "I don't think your friend's seven years old." He kept smiling the whole time, it was kinda fun and nice actually. *g* And then other customers came and he said, "Ok, you talk to them first and I'll wait and after that, my friend is ten years old." LOL He really did say that then! haha Again I told him I normally can't do that, but then I called my co-worker and she did it anyway. Soon after, his phone rang and it turned out his friend wasn't even in the building anymore. LOL But he was nice, so I didn't mind that. hehe
That's actually pretty funny, that I see new people there every day. But I also already recognize many that come there every day! How crazy is that?!
I'd definitely do that job more often in the future, if only the way there wasn't so long. :-\
And I have so much to catch up on!! Haven't watched my shows in two weeks, except True Blood from last week. AND omg, I really, really have to work on three LAS fics tonight! Due date is the 18th and I haven't even started, but it looks like today's the only day I have time for it. :-\
Amalia's back in France since Friday and I hadn't seen here when she was here. :( But we talked during my lunch break once, which was nice. And haha I'm in love with her boyfriend! He's the greatest! She said that he asked about me a lot and that he makes fun of my last name and only pronounces it like "X", and he asked her - all fun of course - if I was part of the X-Men and if I had a special power. That cheered me up for the rest of the day! *g*
It's my dad's birthday in two days and I planned to bake him a cake. Hm, but when? Then, my favorite aunt is coming next weekend. I haven't seen her since last November and I fear that I won't even see her then because I have to work! :( Damn.
And omg, what I remembered before - deviltrap did you notice? - it's been over a year already that we've been to Ringcon for the first time!!! And today, in two months, we'll be there again! I so can't wait to see Kyle Schmid again!!! And the Twilight guys, and for deviltrap's sake I'll also mention Tom Felton here! *g*
Btw, you probably gave up hope completely that I'll ever post my Asylum Europe report, right? Let me tell you, I did write it already, but I just didn't have the time to post it with pics. :P So, it will come, just don't know when exactly. LOL Probably before I'll post anything Pierrefonds related. Hopefully... I think...
