Christmas time - once again
There was a funny moment when I got a late, very late Christmas card from Amalia today! I was surprised that I got mail from her in the first place, but then I just laughed out loud that it was a Christmas card that was somehow not transferred in time to my place. haha I just called her and we had a really good laugh about it.
It's her b-day, today, and I miss her!! Wish I could be there. For those of you who don't know, she's my best friend since fourth grade (goodness, that was like 17 years ago!!) and she lives in France now, for seven years already. I only see her once or twice a year, depends on whether I visit her or she comes here and visits her family. I miss her terribly sometimes!
Didn't sleep well last night, again. I lay awake for two hours, turned the tv on again but of course I have to be awake on a night where there's just nothing on! And then I was thirsty and had to go down to the kitchen - and I was so angry that I couldn't sleep! - and then I decided to read a bit. And one hour later - 3 am - I tried to sleep and I guess I finally fell asleep then. So, there was no way I could've gotten up at 8 am then. *sighs* FML.
And I think I so need to go out Friday night. I can't stand being at home all the time. And even if the others won't come with me, I don't care. I'll go to the cinema (if the Matt Damon movie is on already) or I'll go to have ice cream or a drink or something. But I really just need a few hours away from here.
Sooo... today I'll reveal the name for what I have planned for Friday! :D Are you ready? Here it is:

Don't know if you're as excited as I am, but this journal sure needs more hot stuff, and it comes on Friday...
