Tired, hungry and what was it? Bored.
Job hunting went well yesterday. I went through the Yellow Pages from A-Z and wrote down adresses from companies that appealed to me, like advertising agencies, computer companies or even a music school. So, I started to call them, asking if they are looking for someone or maybe in the near future, and most said that they don't need new people, but some said that I could send in my application even if they're not looking at the moment, or I talked to an employee and they said their boss isn't in but I could send my papers anyway. Which is good I think. The most important thing is that I wrote my quantity of applications and can report back to the job center. So no trouble there.
Even got a call today from a firm I wrote to last week and they invited me to an interview next Monday! I'm a bit nervous. Never did an interview before, and I'm nervous about what I might expect. I don't really know what kind of firm that is. I found the ad in the newspaper but it didn't say much about the actual firm. So, I wanted to look it up on the internet, but didn't find anything. Well, actually I found two with the same name, one is doing something with software I think and the other one builds packing machines. Well, I'll find out on Monday. But if it's something I really don't want to do, I'll say no and keep looking. Don't need to say yes to the very first one who calls, right?
For almost a week, I'm using two new products which I like. One is a conditioner by John Frieda and it really makes my hair smooth and staight, without a hairdryer. And the other is a vanishing creme, Nivea Natural Beauty, and so far, I really like it, too. It makes me sparkle. *g*
Yesterday, I saw the ending of Torchwood 3.01 "Children of Earth". Only saw like the last two minutes, with ... with the bomb and then Jack and Ianto kissing, which I kinda liked. :P Looked like a good episode, though, I haven't seen one whole episode of this show, yet.
I feel like Lynette. Their pizza place isn't going well and they have not enough money for Porter's lawyer, but she doesn't want her friends to know because it's embarrassing. Yup, that's how I feel, too. Haven't told my friends, yet, about our situation or that I'm unemployed. Only Amalia knows and you guys. Don't know what they'll think of me...
