All the other things from my weekend
Beware for a lot of cuts because I'm talking about many shows. Just so you know. ;-)
Well, all in all, my weekend was quite good. My toothache is almost gone completely, as I said it would and maybe - yes, being a coward - I might not go to the dentist this week after all. I just don't want have anything radical done before Ring*Con. But after that, I'm really going because pain like I had on Friday, which was the worst day, I don't want to experience again.
Remember when I said I wanted to go to the Milow concert in October and that I asked a friend to join me? And first she was all hyper about it, even her sister wanted to go, and I thought, yay, we're going to the concert. Well, they both were on vacation and only returned on the weekend, and as we hadn't ordered tickets, yet, I wanted to clear it again, so that we finally could order tickets. Yesterday, we talked on the phone, she was still hyper and said she would talk to her sister again. Today, I got a text message, saying that they are not going. Well, great! Thanks! :-\ Maybe I can convince my brother to come with me, although I know he doesn't like that kind of music. But I really want to go, and there's no other person I could ask. :-( I'm a bit sad. But now that's it. I'll never ask her anything again, ever! Stuff like that happened too often with her. Now, I'm sick of it!
On to the shows... Watched a lot on the weekend!
Firefly - Watched the first episode and liked it. Wasn't overwhelmed by it, yet, but it was interesting enough to make me watch the next episode, too. ;-) It was not too sci fi, just the right amount. And now I finally know what's behind the "I love my captain" quote. ;-)
Watched Cold Case 6.16 (because of my True Blood honey Michael Raymond-James *g*) and had Supernatural flashes, because of the soundtrack - Stranglehold, Bad Company... Loved it!
I repeat - Madison is super creepy!
1.19 - Okaeri, Donna!
- Omg, it's Donna - Tori Spelling!!
- AND Diablo Cody!
- It would drive me nuts, too, if someone treated me like Kelly treated Silver.
1.20 - Between a sign and a hard place
- SN's psychic Traci Dinwiddie playing *drumroll* a psychic!
- Kelly and Ryan, finally! :-)
- Adriana and Navid want to get married! And keep the baby!
1.21 - The dionysian debacle
- Liam really is HOT but a total jerk!
- Naomi's sister Jen is back in town, meets Ethan, who is not thrilled, in school and whispers "Don't worry, I'll never tell Naomi that I was your first". Huh...
1.22 - The party's over
- Ryan, first sleeping with Kelly and now dating Jen! I thought he really liked Kelly...
- Oh no, Navid's mom telling Adriana they're making a big mistake - and she takes pills!
- Suddenly, Ethan and Silver are talking, which they never really did before, meaning they're getting closer, meaning I don't like!... Like at all!
1.23 - Zero Tolerance
- Jen is so using Naomi, her money and all
- The Veronicas at prom
- Liam stops being a jerk and tells Naomi that he likes her!
1.24 - One party can ruin your whole summer
- Adriana has her baby! A girl! But first, she doesn't want to see her. Though, in the end, she holds her even, but has to say goodbye. She's giving her up for adoption.
- Oh no, is Ethan falling in love with Silver?!?! And Dixon notices...! In the end, Silver confronts Ethan about his feelings and he kisses her! Lucky girl...
- haha Harry and Debbie ate "special" brownies LOL
- Jen manipulates Liam to hurt Naomi, and sleeps with him. What a bitch!
Naomi thinks he had sex with Annie, though, and confronts her in front of everybody. And as they think she told her dad about another after prom party, they all don't like her anymore. She says "screw all of you" and storms out, but takes a bottle of Vodka with her!
Btw, something like that happened to me, too, before. Not the Vodka part and not the guy thing, but there was a time when the whole school hated me. But that's another story.
- Liam gets taken from his home to a military school
- OMG! Annie hits someone with her car! Is it my Ethan? :( I know that Dustin Milligan leaves in season 2, so...??? Omg! I'm excited!
I liked it. Maybe too much, because I was already putting the books on my to-buy list. *facepalm*
No, really, I thought it was good. Reminded me of Twilight, which sure isn't a bad thing. I liked the cast, too, Paul Wesley is cute, already liked him on Smallville, and please, I don't have to mention that I already liked Ian Somerhalder before, right? ;-) And now as a vampire? Another one on my please-bite-me-list!
