There is more to this comment, but i posted all that in an email. you will see it. Anyway, don't stress. Stay strong, keep a positive attitude. Keep looking for jobs btw, i know you'll find something. And if you need an ear to listen or someone to talk to, I'm here okay. Or keep writing (sent you a letter last week.)
Oh, DJ! HE'S planning to go into graphic design( for college) which i plan to do as well after i get my masters (then id just work on a bachelors in it, unless i can do a masters in it.)If you need any new programs like PS CS3 / Flash or Illustrator CS3. He has them, so he (or I) could burn copies for you.
Commission ideas:
Other than requests~ you can do:
Do ATC of characters from popular shows or even your own ideas. And I'd pimp your commissions everywhere to help out. Remember I still have some key chains here of yours so I could at least send them, if its not much so you can sell em. Ideas for commissions hmm, do busts (ya know chest line and up). They aren't so much work like the one I did (preview in 2 previous journals) and you can charge from 10 or up for them. It all depends what you want to charge though.
I wish i had time to write one of my stories. Send me chapters. It'll give me stuff to draw "when" i have "free time" or when I need sometime to relax like my aunt says I should do.

Yeah, if you ever get the chance to go back and do graphic design, you should. Its actually kinda fun.
And I had no clue DJ was into the art scene, lol, you must have inspired him. Actually your whole family seems to be artistic people.
