I'm afraid I'll have to postpone any sewing endeavors until the weather becomes more predictable. These little quakes are rather good at surprising me, I'd have gotten myself with a needle a few times already if not for my thimble. My apologies, Grell.

I wonder what they're up to now... Though knowing them it's going to be riddled language until we ( Read more... )

There isn't much one can do when the earth is shaking beneath her feet. Unfortunate as this is, I understand.

A shame, though. I was looking forward to seeing your handiwork.

It's rather vexing, really. But like all things here I'll just have to wait it out.

Well, if you'd like you can come see other things already finished. Most of it survived the flood- how, I haven't the foggiest.

Waiting may not be the best idea, Miss Dinah. There is something wicked in the wind, or so I've been told.

I would love to♥ Thank you for the invitation. When shall I drop by?

Mm, but there's not much else I can do.

Any day is fine, so long as it's in the afternoon.

Unfortunate, then. I do hope whatever is coming doesn't destroy this place entirely.

...why the afternoon? Not a morning person?

You'd think doing away with Sieben would be somewhat counter-productive.

Not for the past few years. At home I was rather busy at night, and I don't really care to readjust my sleeping schedule.

Why? I would think if this place were destroyed, we'd all return home.

Hm~ I can understand that. My former employer was quite active at night as well.

Or they'll hold us all in some strange new limbo.

It was sort of a work thing for me as well.

And what could be worse than here?

Hm~ And what work did you do?

I've seen a few places I'd rather not spend this long in.

Getting persistent ghosts to move on to their assigned afterlife.

...wait, really? You were one of those?

More or less. It's not really something I chose, I kind of stumbled into it.

Never would have...well. That certainly makes things interesting.

How might you have stumbled into such an occupation?

A friend and I wandered into a place that detains sprits so they don't bother the living. I accidently activated a contract they use for human agents.

Ah, I see. Lost lambs into the lion's den, hm?

Do you enjoy it? Your job, I mean.

A rather apt description.

It was... bearable. Until my last assignment.
