Unemployment and Its Joys
Unemployment really is a great thing. I have found so many new things to pass the hours and amuse myself.
Ironing- now this is something i haven't done since i left home, situations have changed and i find myself back on my parents doorstep. So i have taken to doing things around the house i may not have done otherwise. Ironing is one of them. My younger sister went for a job interview today (maybe i should take a page out of her book} and asked if i would iron her black skirt. After ironing there was all that white fluff all over it so i asked her if she had one of those dust removing things ( what are they really called? ) so she handed me this sticky roller. Only problem was there was no stick, she grabbed it off me and started peeling the layer off to reveal a whole new sticky surface. Thats one to thank Moira for.
Scented washing liquids - this one really excited me. My mum has like 30 different washing liquids all with their own scent and specific job they do like : eucalyptus for stains, lemon for whitening, lavender to freshen. So i carefully chose the right one and put the right amount in the washer and wait excitedly till the loads done. God is it satisfying seeing the finished product. I appreciate it so much more.
Herb Gardens - Got a tad bored after having three coffees and 6 ciggarettes trying to decide what to do so i got motivated and planted a herb garden with the thousand herbs mum has lying around the place. Felt great to know that i'd accomplished something.
I really need a job so if there is anyone out there wanting to employ a bight young thing like me or you need a house wife who has a passion for the great job shes doing post me a comment.
