Two things have changed in this house so far that make me severely more pleased than I was before.
For starters, the new Surround sound system that Mike and Colleen got for Christmas came with an iPod dock.
Being able to just do things around the house with my music playing is quite wonderful.
Also, after an entire year of owning it, Mike and I went out yesterday to get a new sink faucet so we could AT LONG LAST use the dishwasher.
It's a beautiful thing. Plus, I am sure that Colleen's hands are grateful.
I forgot to use up the rest of my Pepsi points for free music at Amazon. Oh, well.
I also did something pretty significant on Sunday.
Anyone who has ever known me has been familiar with the multi-colored yard that was on my right wrist. To be more specific, a yarn (of varying number) had been on that wrist since August 24, 2002. That's more than six years of my life with a reminder of the growth I had through Teen Institute.
A part of my life that is, somewhat sadly, over.
There are bigger things to move onto now.
For those of you not reading my
comic (shame on you), I have added the ability to advertise your own things. Got your own blog, comic, etc you want my currently small readership to find? Let me know and we can do that right up.
