Eric lay behind Sookie, kissing her neck. She shivered under his cool breath.
"Do you know what it means when I say that you are mine?"
Sookie grinned. "That I'm your girlfriend and you are my boyfriend."
Eric sighed. "Oh, my love. It is so much more. It means that you can be with no other than me, and I devote every second of my existence to you. I will protect you and give you everything you need and all the things you desire."
Sookie turned to face Eric, still smiling.
"Jup. You're totally my boyfriend," she said, kissing him.
