Aila: *skips past his room with a take-out order of cheesy bread and some ginger ale* Knock knock?
Hugo: *voice sounds funny because of stuff up nose* Whossat?
Aila: *peeps around the corner to see Hugo piled under blankets* Hugo?
Hugo: *brightens somewhat* Hi Aila.
Aila: I brought you some food, if you're up for it? *holds up the cheesy bread and ginger ale*
Hugo: *sneezes* Thanks. I haven't had any cheesy bread in a week!
Aila: That's been about as long as it's been since I've seen you! When all did you get sick?
Hugo: About *coughs* a week ago. After I got back in my own body. How are you ... and how are things in the castle?
Aila: Well, thankfully, as you noticed everyone's back in their bodies, and now everyone's celebrating another one of those Ironhead holidays - Valentine's Day.
Hugo: Yeah, Valentine's Day. *sneezes* You know, that's when Stallion and I first starting seeing each other last year. *goes into a coughing fit*
Aila: It doesn't seem like it's been that long, does it?
Hugo: *coughs* Hey - have you heard anything from Jacques lately?
Aila: *giggles and blushes* I just came back from seeing him. He finally made it back from Caleria. *sparkle!*
Hugo: *smiles, but only half-heartedly because he's sick* That's great Aila.
Aila: And he brought me something for Valentine's Day. *leans over to show him the pretty gold chain with the Earth rune charm on it*
Hugo: Wow. It's the Earth rune.
Aila: I feel kinda silly - I know we were super busy with the...Moose Lion incident but I didn't have a chance to get [him] much of anything.
Hugo: *coughs* I'm sure seeing you after being away so long was a good enough gift.
Aila: Yeah...He said that he stopped by to see Mema in the village and that she was under the weather too. That's part of what took him so long to come back - he stayed with her for a few more days until she got back on her feet.
Hugo: *nods and lies back against his pillows* How's Louis?
Aila: He's doing about as well as can be expected. He's...he's trying to put a brave face on it but just between you and me, I think he's cracking a little]
Hugo: What about Apple? And Mathiu?
Aila: Apple and Mathiu have gotten closer - they needed one another for support and that's finally looking like it's really coming together. Mathiu still seems a little sad, but I think that might be because some of his relatives have come back. I'm not sure about that because I've not actually [seen] them.
Hugo: I heard Elenor came back. *coughs some more* Urgh.
Aila: Elenor...I've [heard] of her but I don't think I've met her.
Hugo: You'd know her if you met her. *tries to laugh but ends up in a coughing fit*
Aila: *startles slightly as he coughs* Here, drink something. I guess if she's around, I'll bump into her soon - I think I've managed to meet all the new people that have come by...
Hugo: *takes the ginger ale and takes a small sip.* There's all those new people from Falafel ... er, Falenas.
Aila: Right, and their prince Free...Frija...Forger...FREY. *chuckles, embarassed* He's got this big long name but he asked us to call him 'Frey'.
Hugo: He told me to put my head over some hot water because it'd help clear my lungs ... or something like that.
Aila: Steam opens your breathing passages.
Hugo: Hunh? *sniffles and looks at Aila blankly*
Aila: You kinda get the same effect if you put eucalyptus root underneath of your nose.
Hugo: I'll take your word for it.
Aila: I hope so! It would keep you from being less stuffy! *knowing smile*
Hugo: *grins*
Aila: I don't know if Mathiu has any, or if I can send someone to Vinay del Zexay to get any more. I'll be more than happy to put in for some if you think you need it?
Hugo: Eh - I think this has almost run its course.
Aila: Good. So hopefully you'll be up and around in no time! *beams*
