Win A Few, Lose A Few
Been busy, as always. I've made a project out of trying to get Mathiu out of his mopey kinda slump and ask Lorelai to be his date for the wedding - it's sad that someone so smart and so nice be lonely like that. He deserves to be happy. He promised me that he would ask Lorelai out, and I've got my fingers crossed. We agreed to all of this as we were out on the lake fishing. [We didn't catch a blessed thing, but he did drink two glasses of wine while we were out on the boat. I wasn't thrilled with him drinking on the boat, but at least it wasn't Scotch...>.>]
I spent a little time with Hugo today. Cheesy bread is always a good thing. [That last little bit is erased heavily, as if she was wondering what exactly she should say before she finally decided upon that last sentence]
Lastly, Nash came back to Budehuc. I'm not sure how I feel about that. Funny how I succeed at getting someone else's life together, and manage to get a hold on my life and then the unknown decides to wander back into my life.
But...he's only in my life if he chooses to be there, right? And if he doesn't choose to be here, then there's nothing more that I can do but go on and enjoy my life, right? Right. So I'll be nice and I'll be happy that he's home safely and that's about it. I'm not sure what I'll say if he actually wants to explain himself - I guess...I'll cross that bridge when we get to it.
