Someone needs to fund me for about a year....You see, I have plans for me to start my writing career and I can't really do that with my current work schedule. So, therefore, some rich person or someone with some extra monies need to give it to me. Why not get a better job and stop depending on other people, start depending on yourself?

We all have to, and you're a big boy now, I think it's time you start to rely on yourself, instead of relying on everyone you know. Because apparently that hasn't worked at all.

Not trying to be rude, but I think if I didn't say it, no one would.

You see the thing is...I don't depend on someone to read this and be like, "Wow, I think I'm going to give him a bunch of money now." It is sort of a dreaming/fantasy thing. I mean doesn't everyone want to do what they love to do and get paid for it? I can't do that right now so it is a fantasy of mine to get my living paid for while i make a start for myself. I have had to depend on myself for quite a while now. Let's see....yeah, more than two years have i had to live with no support from my parents and if someone helped me out, that was on their own accord and not by me asking them to or forcing them to in any way. So, yes I am a big boy now and have had to be for most of my life. If I had to rely on people I know, I'd probably be dead. Thanks for offering your opinion and all but, this wasn't meant to be taken seriously. But, it did sort of hurt my feelings that you felt you had to say that.

It wasn't just me that felt they needed to say that. It was a few people, actually. It wasn't made to hurt your feelings, which isn't what my criticism is for, it was meant to make you realize.

If it's a "dream/fantasy thing" then you should make it seem like that, instead of just flat out saying "someone should do this." That makes it sound like you're trying to persuade people to give you money.

You, being a writer and all, should realize this.

Oh yeah, the number one best selling independent book was done all by word of mouth. DIY advertising. Photocopied versions of the book were sold on subways, and it became the best selling book. The thing is, the book that broke his record, was his second book. Done in the same manner.

Things don't come easy, put some (and by some I mean alot) of effort into what you truly believe in, and things will start looking up for you.

Thanks for your advice and all. I know i have to put effort into the things I believe in. So, who are these people and why are they so concerned with some livejournal post of mine? There are different ways of communicating thoughts and ideas. I chose mine. You are saying there are others. That's awesome. I just did not chose to go that route. I do realize that which you are trying to say. I am not some lofty, head-in-the-clouds type. I thought you knew this but, apparently you did not. That's fine.

These people are people who care...

I know you're not some lofty, head-in-the-clouds type, which is why most people and I take entries like this seriously. There's a fine line between being serious and being sarcastic...

...you blur the shit out of that line.

:) Thanks :) Well when the hell do i talk to these people who care? If they did care, why not say something themselves? I mean are there confrences that go on about me involving people i don't even talk to? I mean people on the South Side that I talk to pretty much every day include....Justin. That's about it. Justin doesn't read this and if he did and was concerned, he would have said something himself. I'm sure you have good intentions dave but, these "others" I'm not so sure about...some people just want to stir up shit that doesn't need to be touched. I know there are still some people down there that aren't the biggest fans of me for reasons that I don't really know or really care about. But, thank you Dave.
