(no subject)
absolutely CRAPTASTIC night of work tonight...well....if they wanna fire me over those crazy fucks then oh well, i'm moving to clarksville anyway....i want to keep the job and tom's getting me a car so i can commute and hang with my friends which is beyond awesome of him...i don't know though...yeah its great money (usually) but i'm getting to the point where i just can't deal with drunks, especially sober...makes me never wanna drink again at the thought that that's exactly what others used to put up with all the time from me!!! (only rarely now!)...
BUT: we qualified at the apt we both loved and moved outta 1714 and into a hotel for the week (always a fun treat) and will be moving all our crap up there this weekend or next depending on his class schedule....speaking of which i'll be living 2 blocks from a university that has awesome adult ed scholarships and financing so starting this summer (and i'm actually taking strong measures to ensure this) i'll be in a few classes...my prereqs for California will be first of course and then more science classes than you can shake a damn stick at...well, i guess you *could* shake the stick but i doubt they'll feel even remotely threatened!
I'm getting excited for the move too....the apt is a remodeled high school from the late 1800s/ early 1900s on the historic registry, has 9-ft windows and 14-ft ceilings, 47 different floor plans, all stainless steel (new) appliances, pool, pool tables, gas grills, weekly parties and mostly 20 and young 30-somethings....Dana the apt manager described it as Melrose Place minus the drama plus a few more academics....almost like an adult dorm with a ton o' bonuses! =P Its also in dntn Clarksville which is architecturally a LOT like the twin cities but TINY...it at least bears semblance to civilization so i guess i can deal...
it was tom's 27th b-day and randy was in from Iraq on leave this last weekend and yeah, we had a blast..
i'm gonna miss max...really...by the end he even may have eked ahead of phil n roger on the "best roomies" scale
we have 2 cats n a lizard in our hotel room...shhhh!!!
imma gonna watch The Brothers grimm now, hoping its good, and pass out
