I...just need to rant a bit.
So I haven't written in a bit...mainly because of the silly amount of work I have to do. For example, let's take what I have for Wednesday:
-Prep for 1 quiz
-prep for 1 test
-5 page anthropology paper due
-60 pages of anthropology reading (it doesn't sound like a lot until you remember that it's dense academic text in french. then it makes my brain all ouchy)
-ma présentation de la presse, basically read an article in Le Monde or something, summarize it briefly to the class and attempt to start some sort of dialogue out of it. I think I'm going to do it about this article on a euthenasia case (yes i know i can't spell, blame it on extreme sleep deprivation)
that wouldnt be so bad for a wednesday, if I didn't have a 5 page paper due today and anotehr paper that was due monday.
i just...feel the need to rant a bit about that. it's finally getting gorgeous spring weather and all I want to do is wander around paris.
did i mention that the 5 pager due tomorrow is only at 2 pages because i lost the majority of my research notes? i really don't know how i managed to do that. i just pray nothing else too important was on that legal pad...(and by important i mean other research notes for another class, not say, credit card information).
i'd like to say that this weekend will be a relief except that right now my plans look like seeing a lot of the inside of a library. thank god the one i use doesn't open until 12, i have an excuse to go to the musée maillot and check out the pascin exhibit. . .
