Intentions for a new year

Jan 02, 2012 00:41

Up until this point I thought I had burned a lot of bridges.

There were a lot of relationships that I thought I had irrevocably damaged, whether through injury or willful neglect. I am beginning to learn that those doors, if closed, never stay locked.

I spent new year's in the arms of love, with good friends and good champagne.

2011 was a year of blessings. I ended a relationship that did not serve me well. I was chosen for someone who loves me very much. I became functional at performing well in school, despite outside stresses. I showed artwork in a gallery again. I was offered many wonderful work opportunities. I survived a mildly traumatic experience in the company of kind friends.

I am so excited to start this new year with love, inspiration, passion, commitment, and dedication.

Here is a list of intentions for the new year:

♥ Continue to pursue my education with determination to complete my degree in 2012

♥ Hold my long term goal to become an art therapist at the front of my mind and continue to make progress toward it.

♥ Foster strong working relationships with clients and my professional network, value them and treat them as friends.

♥ Continue to grow in my relationship; challenge my lover and myself to grow, and as my lover becomes more vulnerable with each intimacy shared become more compassionate and kind.

♥ Learn to be smarter with where and when I invest my time and money. De-stress my financial situation.

♥ Generate income by harnessing my passions into marketable skills and products.

♥ Continue to devote more time to learning, cultivate stronger skills in engineering and programming.

♥ Spend more time showing my family and and extended family how much I value and love them.

♥ Find a balance between nurturing relationships with friends and my relationship with my lover.

♥ BE FEARLESS!
