crazy face

i've just spent a little over three hours reading the DSM III casebook, which i randomly stumbled across in the search for information on event-related potentials (don't ask, you really don't want me to tell you). and now every thought i think is subject to severe scrutiny. am i obsessive? compulsive? do i have a borderline personality disorder? my mind feels all semi-permeable. that shit is wack! i need to lay off the psychology casebook for a while, and stop reading about deranged people who eat corpses and think they're the antichrist. it's just a recipe for hurtiness, to consume information like that from a buffet of terrible knowledge, until you're full of things you that make you feel ill. ak ak ak and also mystified by accounts of people who think that aliens are stealing their thoughts, or that the government has drilled a hole in their head so they can broadcast radar voices into their mind. mental illness is scary.
