christmas carols. why? why oh why? why does a stationary and office supplies store need constant, tape-looped christmas carols for the entire month leading up to the big letdown? grrr(inch). surely it is a contravention of human rights to aurally torture people with multiple versions of incredibly shit poorly rhymed poorly scanned festive "songs"? surely! ugh. so anyways, i hate christmas now with a passion and fervour unmatched by anything else. christmas is obscene and vile and sickening and pathetic. our house is flooded with fucking christmas specials pamphlets, which i guess is partially a product of a poor cleaning regime, but also a result of the commodification of happiness into descrete packages clearly price-tagged and available with 12 months interest free repayment.
