Dear Remixer,
So for the delay, but I was out of town when the remixes were sent out.
If you were matched with me because of my BtVS background, there should be plenty to choose from - and some of that early stuff should really leave you lots of opportunity! If you were matched with me because of my Firefly work, it's that minimum 7 stories of at least 100 words. Hopefully it isn't leaving you asking, "That's it?"
This is my third time through, and I'm still of the mind that if one is signing up to be remixed, than one should be ready for anything. My first year I was blown away by
idyll's remix of one of my drabbles. That first experience definitely set me in the mood for the more you run with it, the more delighted I'll be. So have fun. Be as crazy creative as your imagination take you.
If you want to take the subtext and make it text, go for it. (As in, there's fair little slash in the mix, but if you like to write it and can make it so, I'd be tickled to see that version.) If you want to try [fill in the blank], go for it. For me, I'll be over the moon as long as you stretch yourself creatively, whatever that looks like for you.
