the past two days have been rather interesting. Yesterday we had band practice. We didn't practice half time or anything like that because we were too busy getting ready for Band-o-rama. The rehearsal was hellish. Mr. Stephens has been in a bad mood lately so I wasn't acting too overly peppy toward him in practice, and neither was anyone else for, I'm assuming, the same reason. So we practiced the whole light thing and stuff, and mr. stephens made some alterations because it wasn't working the way he had hoped. So I was like "whatever, at least we get to be featured." So after practice he asked the drumline to stay for a few extra minutes so he could talk. So we did and he came up and was, like, telling us off for having "long faces" because the light thing didn't go as planned. Excuse me, but that's NOT why I and several others had a long face. We were upset because he's always acting like he's irritated with the drummers whether we do something wrong or not. He makes me SO mad sometimes and I just want to scream!!! I wanted the light show to work for the sake of the seniors and Mr. Stephens yells at us for adding on to something that started last year. I'm SO sorry, sir. Oh yeah, and it didn't help when Spinny said that some of the drumline "had it coming". What's that? we deserved to have him yell at us for being upset that he was a jerk to one of the drumline members? of course, what was I thinking. Spin, I love ya but I don't agree.

Other than that, I'm excited for tonight :)

Last night was the bon fire/pep rally. it sort of reminded me of a cult but ya know, whatever floats their boat.

We got report cards today ::thumbs up:: I'm pleased.
