Not only did Ken have the leader of their little group hostage, but two of the older chosen children to taunt the blonde with as well. Not to mention his secret hostage and the alchemist boy, but the blunette knew that the child of hope would be unphazed with that revelation...for now.
Ken was about to demonstrate the opposite of the golden boy's crest to him. To make the boy fall into despair would be...poetic, to say the least.
With a slow pace, the Digimon Kaizer appeared from the shadows with a twisted smirk plastered on his lips. "Welcome...insect." He couldn't help but cackle a bit ( ... )

He was perfectly ready with more quips, but, well, mention of Daisuke pretty much killed them before he could pull them out. "D-Daiskue-kun?!" Takeru glared at Ken, grinding his teeth together. "You... Daiskue-kun stood up for you, and this is how you repay him?! You're pathetic, Ken-kun!"
Oh, how he wanted to punch that smirk right off of Ken's face. It was taking all of his self-control not to launch himself at the bluenette right then and there. "I wouldn't blame him for being lonely. You're the worst company he could ever have."
((OOC: No worries about the delay, hun! <3))

Why was that not sinking in?
The reaction that came from the blonde was not far from savory, but there was still more Ken could press at. It was akin to when a bully holds a magnifying glass up to the sun and lets it fry the little ants. For the Kaizer, he wasn't holding Takeru in enough sunlight just yet.
"Pathetic? Repay him? The only thing I need to repay him for is standing in the way of what I wanted to achieve."
Oh, was Takeru restraining himself still? Hopefully not for much longer.
"...it's not my company he's been enjoying. A certain red-haired hacker has been doing some dirty work for me. Perhaps you remember your sempai...?"
Koushiro's voice rang through Ken's D-3,
"-I will do it."
"Of course, the reason for him agreeing to help got in my way. The little pink princess got too close to something she shouldn't have. So naturally, I collared her as well."
Maybe that would get more of a reaction from the child of hope before him.

But then that snarl was back. "You arrogant little-!" And that did it. That was the breaking point. "Give them back!" Takeru launched himself at Ken as hard and as fast as he could. He might not have been a soccer player like Daisuke, but he did play basketball. Takeru was no lightweight.
"What did you do to them?!"

In fact, this was about to get much, much better.
He wanted Takeru to dive for him, to grab him, to close the gap between them. That was less work for Ken. Because as the blonde boy was so busy shouting angrily at the Digimon Kaizer, Ken was pulling out a black ring. This would be the perfect poetic justice. Try to stop him from creating Chimeramon? Managing to land a blow to the Kaizer's face?
Ken was not one to take his pride lightly. He had waited for the opportunity to give the blonde's pride an equal bruise.
[[ooc: I didn't want to ring him unless I had your permission. Feel free to notice it or try to dodge it. <3 ^^]]

So he skidded to a halt just out of arms' reach, glowering at Ken in a very unfriendly sort of way. "Sorry, Ichiouji Ken-san, but I'm not gonna let you do that to me." Takeru folded his arms and smirked. "It was a good try, though," he drawled.

With a scowl, Ken launched the black ring at Takeru, and instead reached for his whip. Oh yes, the Kaizer was angry now; the miscalculation causing him to seethe. He cracked his whip at the blonde's ankles, in an attempt to pull him off his feet and onto his back.

He ducked as Ken flung the black ring, barely managing to get his neck out of the way in time. Unfortunately, he hadn't noticed the whip. That is, until it wrapped around his ankles and yanked his feet out from under him.
Takeru hit the ground with a very loud 'oof' sound, followed by a moment's pause. That had knocked the breath out of him. "St-still the same as before. You don't know when to talk and when to fight."
